MSI’s GTX 1080 Ti is the company’s mid-range GPU using Nvidia’s GTX 1080 Ti at its core. MSI has overclocked the original hardware to 1,658MHz and the cooling system has been improved. The hardware is using Twin Frozr cooler which has optimized the cooling system of the original hardware.
Several other features have been included in MSI GeForce GTX 1080 11GB such as one-click overclocking, Twin Frozr cooling, RGB lighting, and MSI’s original gaming software. The GPU uses a dual 8-pin PCI connector and a dual-link DVI connector. Along with this a three Displayport and one HDMI 2.0 connector.
The most fascinating aspect of MSI GeForce GTX 1080 11GB is its cooling system, the win Frozr VI. It uses alternating fan type cooling system which helps in generating more air pressure, and eventually improving the entire cooling system.
However, the fans will only start spinning as soon as GPU’s temperature rises above than 60 degrees. So, in case the GPU is only being used for mining and not for gaming, the cooling fans won’t be working and you can mine silently. MSI GeForce GTX 1080 11GB is a profitable mining hardware. It is capable of generating a profit of $50/month at an electricity rate of 0.1 USD/kWh.
